Get Back To Each Other
As A Couple

You don't need convincing that your relationship
is worth the effort

What you can't figure out is how to fit it into your lives. Between two careers, the kids, and everything else, protecting a weekly therapy hour feels like one more thing destined to get bumped. And when you do make it, the session is half gone before you've finished catching up on the week.

You're not in crisis but you're tired of feeling distant from each other. You want to feel close again and you'd rather go all in for a weekend than stretch it out over the next eight months.

You've Drifted And You Want To Close The Gap

Does any of this fit the two of you?

You miss feeling close and don't want to wait months to get there
Between two careers and everything else, a weekly hour is impossible to protect
By the time you catch up on the week, the session is nearly over
You take a step forward, then lose it before the next session
You're ready to fix this, you just need it to fit your life

Wanting faster, more focused help doesn't mean anything is wrong with you. For a lot of busy couples, it's the weekly format that doesn't fit, not the willingness to do the work.

Feel Close And
Connected Again

Picture what could shift between the two of you:

Hear each other instead of bracing for the next jab
Feel close again instead of just coexisting
Break the cycle of the same argument
Understand what's underneath the distance between you
Leave feeling like partners again, with a plan you both believe in

More Connection, Less Waiting

An intensive isn't weekly therapy squeezed together

It's a different way of working that some couples get a lot more out of.

You stay with the hard thing long enough to get somewhere, instead of stopping right as something starts to open up. You skip the first ten minutes of catching up on the week and get straight to what matters. You move faster through the stuck places and you don't lose ground waiting for the next appointment. What might take six months of weekly sessions can come together in a couple of months or a single focused weekend.

And it fits real life. One weekend, a day off, or a few longer sessions close together is often far easier to coordinate than carving out the same hour every single week, especially when you're both working.

How Couples Intensives
Work

Intensives are built around what the two of you need, so there's no single set length. We might do one 75-minute session, a half day, or several hours spread across a couple of days, and you can mix and match these until they fit your goals and your calendar. Everything happens online with both of you on the call.

These intensives draw on the Gottman Method, the same research-based approach I use in weekly couples work, with room to go further in one sitting. I'm warm and direct and very human and I'll keep the time focused so it moves.

Here's how we set one up:

01

We start with a free 15-minute call to talk through what you're hoping to work on.

02

From there we design the intensive together, the length, the focus, and the schedule.

03

We meet for your intensive online and focus on what matters most to the two of you.

04

You leave with momentum and a clear sense of your next steps.

05

If it helps, we can plan a follow-up or a periodic check-in down the road.

Most couples are surprised how much ground they can cover when the clock isn't cutting them off every fifty minutes.

FAQ

Common Questions Before We Start

How long is a couples intensive?

It depends on what you need. We might do one ninety-minute session, a half day, or several hours across a couple of days. We right-size it together.

Do we still start with a consultation?

Yes. Every intensive starts with a free 15-minute call so we can talk through your goals and design the right format. Intensives aren't booked through the online scheduler, we set them up together on that call.

Is an intensive instead of weekly therapy, or on top of it?

Either works. Some couples use an intensive to jump-start things, some do one as a periodic tune-up, and some prefer intensives to weekly sessions entirely.

Are intensives a last resort for a relationship that's almost over?

Not really. Intensives work best when there's still something to build on and you want to build it faster. If things feel very far gone, weekly work is usually the better place to start.
